Who doesn’t love cake when their lots of option in front of you like sponge cake, raspberry cake, chocolate cake, banana cake, black Forrest cake, cheese cake oh my gosh whats the long list in here. So whenever it comes to the topic of cake or dessert i almost love all the chocolate featured dish because i love chocolate so much. How to make a chocolate cake at home, todays my topic i described as the easy way i can hope like it.
Thats why among those cake i mostly adore the chocolate one with melted chocolate layer. You seem pretty easy to have a slice of cake, but it tough to make them happen in exact shape you dream of. Not always it gets the real shape you want them but if you put the accurate measurement of ingredients you will get the dreamy chocolate cake. Here in this article i am gonna share some quick and real tips to make it easily without any kind of hassle.
How to Make a Chocolate Cake at Home
At the very first you are gonna need some basic ingredients as well egg, all purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, chocolate powder. For making a perfect chocolate cake first thing always remember, put the exact amount of ingredients otherwise it won’t work at all. So when recipe says 1cup means plain one cup not too much or less. Lets see the rough ingredients you are going to need.
1 and 3/4 cups all purpose flour that 245g
2 cups sugar or granulated sugar that 400g
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1 and 1/2 tsp baking powder
3 eggs or 2 large eggs
1.2 tsp salt
1 and 1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup milk that 240ml
1cup warm water or coffee for flavor that 240ml
1 and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup oil that 120ml
and the equipment you will need one large bowl to mix all the ingredients together. Two cake pan of 9 inch or what you have on your kitchen, if you have more depth pan then one thing will be added just heat the cake for more time. Like i have 15 inch cake pan, when i bake large cake for big party i used it and bake for more than one hour in low temperature. One spatula to mix well and last egg beater to whisk, hand or stand whatever you have. Some have hand whisker that fine because all does same purpose to beat them well. Nothing to worry if you don’t have electric machine to beat your egg. Just beat the egg until it looks like foam still stick to your whisker, then its ready to work with on.
And now how you have to make chocolate cake. First of all mix all the dry ingredients sugar, all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder and salt. Then mix the wet ingredients with whisker eggs, milk, oil, water or coffee. Or you can beat first the white part of egg like foam and then add the other wet thing into the batter, it will be thin so do not panic about that. Take the cake pan spray butter or oil for non sticky and set parchment paper in the middle of pan. Divide the batter into two pans or one you have to bake. I want to give the credit for this recipe joy of baking because i love her recipe like fans.
Now preheat the oven at 180C or 350F for three minutes or how much time your oven take time because every single oven features different setting that you might well known better. And next set the oven rack on the middle of oven and place the pan to bake for 27 to 35 minutes. If you bake in larger and depth pan then bake for longer time like 50 or more. For sure you can check with one stick putting in the middle of cake, if it comes out clean the cake is done. If it does not come well like sticky part along then bake for more time.
And the last part is topping of melted chocolate with butter and sugar. First melt the chocolate on a heatproof bowl, beat the butter with sugar and mix with chocolate for two minutes until it looks fluffy and glossy. Next decorate the cake with the melting frosting and for better result put the cake on fridge overnight. Its been said dessert always serves as lite cold otherwise you won’t get the actual taste of it.
